Samsung Galaxy Connection Problem

Do you have problem in connecting Samsung Galaxy S or Any other Android device to your computer in Win XP? Are you still waiting to let your Kies conncet or detect your phone? Tried several methods available in forums etc? Are you getting "A service installation section in this INF is invalid" error? Puzzled about MTP error?
Here is a simple method..
  1. Download Microsoft_User-Mode_Driver_Framework_Install-v1.0-WinXP from http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=71641&/umdf.exe and install it in your PC.
  2. Go to Device manager by right clicking Properties in My Computer. Uninstall drivers of that MTP thing( if it is having yellow exclamation!).
  3. Reconnect your device i.e your Samsung Galaxy... and you are done after giving your XP a few minutes to install it.

Hi, I tried to install the suggested file but I am getting an error saying "Wudf01000 Setup Access is denied"
Pls help how to get rid of this error to install this file.

Seems one of the softwares/ANti virus programs is preventing the software to get install. Try to remove such App or software first and install the suggested file. Thereafter you can always reinstall your removed program.
